Domiciliary Care Assistants – Full Time, Permanent

£27,000 annual salary • 37.5 hours per week • Paid overtime • Travel costs covered • 28 days holiday • Ongoing training & development

About the Role

Working within clients’ homes across Oxford, Abingdon and Bicester, you will provide high‑quality personal care and daily living support tailored to individual needs. You will act with professionalism, empathy and confidence, ensuring dignity, independence and wellbeing are at the heart of every interaction.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Delivering personal care and mobility support
  • Assisting with medication in line with care plans
  • Supporting daily routines and promoting independence
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with clients and families
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting concerns appropriately
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and healthcare professionals

About You

We are looking for individuals who bring both skill and heart to their work. You will have:
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
  • GCSE‑level education (or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 2 years’ previous experience in a care or support role
  • A caring, patient and professional approach
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
  • Reliability, integrity and a commitment to high standards
  • Willingness to undertake further training and development
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is advantageous due to travel between client homes.
