Internal Customer Sales Administrator

Location: Bedford

Join this experienced, dynamic internal sales and customer services team supporting global customers with a range of high value products and services. As an Internal Customer Sales Administrator, you will play a key role in delivering accurate quotations, processing customer orders, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from enquiry to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to world-wide customer enquiries via email and telephone with efficiency and professionalism
  • Prepare and issue prices and quotations using standard pricing tools
  • Working on Salesforce CRM system, plus Windows based software – Outlook. Word and Excel
  • Calculate gross margin evaluation, applying VAT and necessary export costs
  • Escalate complex or non-standard enquiries to the Team Leader
  • Accurately process customer orders and liaise with the Operations Department
  • Deliver exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations
  • Maintain clear, proactive communication with customers throughout the order lifecycle
  • Handle urgent or complex orders with a solution-focused mindset
  • Perform general administrative tasks as required
Skills & Experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
  • Confident in handling customer portals and CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred)
  • Proficient in Excel and comfortable with basic calculations
  • Excellent telephone manner and attention to detail
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude

Qualifications

GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English – Grades A-C

Prior experience in a manufacturing and sales environment is essential
